Isosceles Design Studio is a progressive design group located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Founded in 2005, our main services are currently focused on custom designed, hand built furniture and interior design but we actively seek out other design and fabrication opportunities. Our staff’s range of experience comes from a diverse background: architecture, interior design, theater production, graphic design, and exhibit planning are a few of our specialties.
Our furniture design group takes pride in meticulous detail and innovation. We specialize in hand made custom furniture that is hard to duplicate; variations in size and finish make each item unique. Most IDS furniture combines metal and solid wood to create clean geometric forms in various sizes and finishes.
We also enjoy designing one-of-a-kind pieces for discerning clients.
IDS has a love and appreciation of craftsmanship; we strive to create environmentally friendly items that work for our customer’s needs and bring beauty and structure into balance. Feel free to contact us with any questions or dreams. We can help you find the answers!

Joe Klocek
At a young age, Joe began to focus his energy towards establishing a design vocabulary that expressed purity in form and material. He pursued this vision during his years at Lehigh University while studying both architecture and theater design. After college Joe began his professional career as an apprentice to a well known furniture builder creating one-of-a-kind pieces from recycled goods. This allowed Joe to develop his creative skills on a smaller scale while also forming his first company, ‘Creative Solutions,’ which offered exhibit planning, scenic painting, and graphic services to the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia regions. A few years later, after countless projects, Joe transitioned into architecture, working as a design associate at several well known commercial architecture firms in the greater Lehigh Valley. Joe has worked on many architectural and construction projects in the commercial and entertainment sector with budgets ranging from a few hundred to many millions of dollars. Joe currently works for Boyle Construction in Allentown, PA as a Project Manager.

Brian’s background is diverse. As an undergraduate at Lehigh University, Brian studied structural engineering before realizing his passion in the form of design. Once this true calling was realized, Brian spent most of his time in Lehigh’s theatre department studying scenic and lighting design. After graduating from Lehigh, Brian went on to graduate study at North Carolina School of the Arts and has since designed scenery and lighting for theatre, opera, and film productions in locations spanning the country. In 2003, Brian returned to Lehigh as the Managing Director for its new Design Arts program where he remains today.
